WORKING AT HEIGHTS
WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM THIS TRAINING?
This course is designed for anyone on the job site that will be exposed to working at heights.
It is a pre-requisite for our elevated work platform, suspended access user & installer, and scaffolding courses!
We'll go over the dangers of what happens when proper fall arrest procedures aren't in place, discuss the equipment that is used to control falls, and practice using real equipment.
So don't forget to bring your harness!
There will be quizzes throughout each module, class discussions, and the opportunity to pick the trainers brain with questions you may have.

Once you pass, you will receive your printed proof of working at heights training, PLUS an e-mail straight to your inbox (please check junk) which includes an account registration link to be able to view your record of training online, anytime.
WORKING AT HEIGHTS COURSE DESCRIPTION
Module 1: Rights and responsibilities, general hazards, hierarchy of controls
Module 2: Identifying safety hazards, ladders, scaffolding, using barriers, protective covers, guardrails, and safety nets
Module 3: Fall arrest system, emergency rescue & response plans, and personal protection equipment
Practical Portion: Trainees will demonstrate how to properly inspect, put on, use with anchor points, and take off their harnesses.
The course will end with a final evaluation, and we have options available if you need extra help.
RECORD OF TRAINING
While you are training, our staff will be busy creating your records of training in anticipation of your successful completion of the course.
Once you are done, you will receive a personalized wallet card stating that you completed our program.
We also have other electronical delivery methods available for your certificate, just let us know which you prefer!

Training Expiration Dates
Your working at heights training will expire three years from the date of training, but don't worry, we'll remind you to come in for that when the time comes!
Already have working at heights training?
Anything before November 1, 2015 has become void and needs to be refreshed. But, you can do that through our working at heights refresher courses.
Because of COVID, the Chief Prevention Officer has given an extension on all working at heights expiry dates.
Now, the dates ranging from February 28th 2017 to August 1st 2017 gets an extension.
This doesn't mean you have to wait to conduct the refresher training, because we have the courses running now!
We're adding new courses to the list every day as the demand grows, so call us to see when we can fit you in!
