Why You Need Forklift Training

Shifting loads, tip-overs, and collisions can be prevented with the proper forklift safety training that we provide. An employer has a duty to make their workers competent in using a powered lift truck so avoid fatal circumstances. As per OHSA- Regulations 213/91 for construction projects, a forklift operator must be trained in the specific class of machine they will be operatingWorkers who were poorly trained; where supervision was inadequate; and where both the work and workplace were not organized with safety in mind have resulted in minor to fatal injuries.
